PLATE CASTER

Description: The caster wheel is attached to a frame on which is a flat metal plate with holes in it for screws.

Buying information: Plate casters also vary in size and are often used for heavier items.

How-to hint: If the legs holding the caster are ragged, saw them off evenly, drill pilot holes for screws, then reattach casters using screws as long as is practical.
