TOILET BOWL OR SEAT PARTS INTRODUCTION
In addition to the parts used in the toilet tank, other parts are required when you install a toilet to ensure that it is set securely in place and is tightly sealed. There is also hardware available for securing the tank to the bowl, and for securing the seat to the bowl. Collectively, the parts are called toilet trimmings.
When you take the toilet out, place a board over the open drainpipe so that if you drop a part it won't fall down the drain. Or stuff something in it that won't fall through.
