DOUBLE-HEAD SCAFFOLD NAIL
Description: This is a common nail with a standard head and a neck or rim of metal a little lower than the standard head. It is normally 2 1/2 inches or 3 inches, but a 12d size (3 1/4 inches) is also available. Buying information: Use this nail for temporary assembly of scaffolding. The 12d nail is bigger and stronger than the others and is excellent for house framing. Smaller sizes are good for other tasks. Drive the nail only up to the rim of metal. The portion still projecting allows for easier pulling. |
