DOUBLE-ACTING HINGE
Description: This comes in a couple of forms. The common type has two leaves and knuckles and is loosely jointed to allow both leaves to open at once. It is brass-plated.
Buying information: This is a good hinge if you want to fold dividers or sectional screens in both directions or fold flat for storage. It is also good for shutters.
How-to hint: Only an experienced handyperson should attempt installation. The double-acting hinge is tricky to install.
