CABLE CLAMPDescription: This clamp consists of two flat pieces of metal with grooves inside, which, when assembled, form a sort of metal sandwich. It comes cadmium-plated and galvanized. Buying information: This is used for making loops at the end of cable. The clamps have grooves in various sizes (commonly 1/8 inch, 3/16 inch, and 1/2 inch) into which you can lay the cable. How-to hints: Make sure to select the correct size clamp: if it's too big, the cable could slip out. You can use an extra clamp below the first and also secure either or both of these with a plastic tie. |
