MACHINE CHAIN
Description: This is a short-link welded chain; that is, the individual links are welded shut. It comes in straight-link and twisted-link styles; the former has links that are elliptical, the latter has links that are elliptical and twisted.
Buying information: Welded chain is the strongest type you can get. You will see machine chain used on overhead doors, tailgates, and agricultural implements.
How-to hint: It can be cut with bolt cutters or clamped in a vise and cut with a hacksaw.
