DRYWALL SCREW

Description: Made of blued steel, with a bugle-shaped head, this screw is threaded all the way to the Phillips-type head and has a very sharp point. It comes in lengths of 1 1/4 to 3 inches, and in various gauges.

Buying information: A drywall screw can be used on wood or metal studs for securing drywall. Because of the thread design, there is little chance of wood splitting, as can happen with drywall nails.
