DUO STRAINER, SINK PARTS
Description: This is a threaded, chrome-plated cylinder of metal with an insert that can be raised or lowered. Buying information: This is called a duo strainer because it allows the water either to flow or not to flow, and catches debris that might otherwise build up in the trap. How-to hints: When installing, don't forget to put plumber's putty under the lip of the strainer to prevent leaks. For ease in removing or installing a strainer, there is, in the first instance, an internal spud wrench and, in the second, a regular spud wrench. |
