POST HOLDER, FRAMING FASTENERS
Description: This consists of a U-shaped configuration slipped over a bolt projecting from a concrete foundation. Drill a hole in the post, place on top of the bolt. The post is held in place by a U-shaped holder; once on the bolt, the post locks in.
Buying information: This device is for setting posts in place. It lets you adjust post placement and also allows the end of the post to ride on top of the U-shaped section rather than directly on the concrete.
How-to hint: To find the exact placement of the post holder, drop a plumb bob to locate the center of the concrete base.
