It can be used for making large patches in concrete as well as for building things. As mentioned above, however, premixed concrete can get expensive for a large project, so you may prefer to mix it from scratch. How-to hints: If you have a large area to fill, you can first dump in anything solid -- big stones, pieces of block, and so on -- before pouring the concrete mix.
