Description: This is bright aluminum sheet. It comes in various gauges (most common is 26 gauge) and 6-, 8-, 12-, 14-, and 18-inch widths, and in 50- and 100-foot rolls.
Buying information: It can be bought a few feet at a time as well as by the roll.
How-to hints: Purchase flashing that is as close to the gap in width as possible. This makes it easier to work with. For example, if the gap is 8 inches, get 12-inch-wide material. It cuts easily with tin snips.
